RemindMe Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 25, 2026

RemindMe values user privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Reminder content: When you create a reminder, the app stores information such as the reminder title, time, notes, repeat rules, and completion status.

Account information: When you choose to sign in, the app may use your Google account email address or account identifier for sign-in and data sync.

Voice content: When you use AI voice reminder creation, the app collects audio after microphone permission is granted and uses the speech recognition result to understand and create reminders.

Device and network information: The app may use network status, notification permission, and device identifiers to support sync, notifications, and local reminder functionality.

How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

Data Storage

When you are not signed in, reminder data is mainly stored on your device. After sign-in, reminder data may be synced to the cloud for use across devices.

Permissions

Microphone permission: Used only when you create reminders by voice.

Notification permission: Used to send notifications when reminders are due.

Network permission: Used for sign-in, cloud sync, and AI voice reminder creation.

Exact alarm or timing capability: Used to trigger reminders as close to the scheduled time as possible.

Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party services for sign-in, cloud sync, speech recognition, or AI understanding. We use relevant data only to provide reminder creation and sync functionality.

User Control

You can turn off microphone or notification permissions in system settings. You can also delete reminders in the app or sign out.
